Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12.  We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years.  With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.

The Narre Warren South Campus is offering a negotiable part-time (minimum FTE 0.418) Secondary Teacher role (Junior Science and Computing), starting at the beginning of Term 2 on 22 April 2025.  This is a fixed term contract until the end of Term 4, 2025 with the with the possibility of extension.

The successful applicant must:

  • Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Be able to teach Science and Computing
  • Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
  • Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
  • Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities.
  • Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.

Applicants are to include a Resume, Letter of Application, Pastoral Reference Letter and complete the screening questions as part of the application process. Applicants will also need to provide a list of three referees.

A First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), CPR Certificate (HLTAID009) and Anaphylaxis Certificate (22578VIC or HLTAID012) are also required prior to starting in the role.
