Middle School Teacher

Position Overview

We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about students and their learning.  This person will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, and be able to relate well to their students.  

The role includes writing lesson plans, teaching content, assessing students, keeping records, writing reports & working within a team.  The ability to communicate and work with parents to produce beneficial outcomes for students is vital.

The person will be a home class teacher, responsible for all core subjects and other areas depending on specialisation and qualifications.  The successful person will be accountable to the Head of Middle School.

The position could also include teaching across other sub-schools.  This would be discussed and planned in collaboration with the applicant.

Remuneration

The salary for this position will range from $74,000 to $108,000, depending on qualifications held and the experience of the applicant.

If you have children in your family to be enrolled at the school they will attract a 25% discount on their school fees.

• Holding a current First Aid Certificate to the level of HLTAID011

Circular Head Christian School is a independent K-12 co-educational Christian school, operating in three sub-schools of Junior School (kinder – year 5); Middle School (year 6 – year 9) and College (year 10 – year 12).
