Theme: Embrace the Tension

What is the place of education in the 21^st century? How do we make sense of some of the constant back and forth in teaching philosophies? And what difference does Jesus make in the teaching and learning dynamic?

Whether you are new to these discussions or have been a part of them for years, CEN is excited to invite you to our 2024 Professional Learning Leaders summit. Education is in a real time of transition in the wake of the pandemic and the technological changes it accelerated, and the question of what education is for needs to answered again. It is a moment to reaffirm what Christian education is for in light of a rapidly changing culture and competing ideas about classroom practice.

This summit is designed to inform your approach in leading staff towards a deeper understanding of Christian teaching practices through ongoing professional learning.

Over the course of these two days, we will discuss education philosophy, theology of knowledge, strategies, policy, and provide time for schools to show their thinking around learning models. It will be theoretical, practical and encouraging!
