We warmly invite all board members (Principals and Business Managers are also most welcome) to participate in our online Governance webinars for 2024.

In this first workshop for 2024, our theme is “Fishing with a Bag that has Holes in it.” Our boards can have the right skills and attitudes and even the best board skills matrix possible. But if we don’t attend to the basics well, we will not succeed.”

In this workshop we will be exploring some of the key basic areas of responsibility for our CEN school boards and hearing from 2 Board Chairs as they share some of their thoughts about the core things they have attended to in their roles as chairs and areas they would like to see our boards hone in on.

We will also have a focused look at ACNC Governance Standard 1 – “Not-For-Profit and Working Towards Charitable Purpose” and finish off with a Q & A session.
