Dr Ken Dickens’ writings within National Institute for Christian Education and Christian Education National publications have a tangible legacy. Hence, the decision to collate these writings into one volume for easy reference and as an encouragement to a new generation.

On the announced resignation of Dr Ken Dickens from the position of principal of the National Institute for Christian Education, the question of a suitable tribute was pondered; a tribute to his faithful, extensive contribution to Christian education. Ken has touched the lives and thinking of 1000’s of Christian teachers and scholars through research, teaching, reading, presenting, mentoring, and writing.

We trust that this volume will serve as a small tribute to the work that God has done through Dr Ken Dickens to extend His Kingdom in the sphere of education in Australia.
