Bayside Christian College invites applications from experienced and detail-driven Payroll professionals ready to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant Christian school community to commence June 2025.

The role is permanent part-time, with a time fraction of 0.8 FTE, 30.4 hours per week.

Bayside Christian College is a coeducational Christian school offering Kindergarten through to Year 12.  The College is located in Langwarrin South, at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula.  The College’s ~600 students enjoy learning within a caring and friendly atmosphere set within beautiful natural surrounds.

Person specification and selection criteria:

  • Experience in a school Payroll environment and familiar with school industrial agreements
  • A sound understanding of and commitment to the Christian mission and philosophy of the College
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a payroll position within a finance team
  • Exceptional organisational ability, capacity to manage several concurrent tasks, and excellent attention to detail
  • Displays initiative, flexibility, common sense and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work efficiently, and capacity to perform under pressure
  • Appropriate degree in Finance preferred, but not essential.
  • Adherence to and acceptance of the College’s Statement of Beliefs is an essential condition of employment.
