This event is for experienced teachers, who have recently starting teaching in a Christian school.

There is so much more to teaching in a Christian school than just being able to share your faith more freely in your classroom. Whilst this is indeed a wonderful privilege, Christian education is about learning what it means to ‘teach Christianly;’ to shape and present curriculum in such a way as to reveal Christ in what we teach, through the lens of the Bible. It involves understanding our unique role in the forming and transforming of our students, whilst simultaneously being formed and transformed ourselves.

Come with your questions and wonderings about Christian teaching and pedagogy as we explore together, the distinctive features of Christian education and Christian schools. We will also introduce you to some of the resources available to you as you continue to develop in your Christian teaching practice.
