The role of teaching at Horizon Christian School is considered to be a calling in the Christian-missional sense of the word. Horizon Christian School teachers desire to develop the whole child in a caring, nurturing environment in the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
A music teacher at Horizon Christian School educates students in music theory, performance, and appreciation, fostering creativity and a love for music. They develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and may organize musical performances.
A full time teacher will also be required to teach in other subject areas.
