Agriculture Teacher

The role of teaching at Horizon Christian School is considered to be a calling in the Christian-missional sense of the word.  Horizon Christian School teachers desire to develop the whole child in a caring, nurturing environment in the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

An Agriculture teacher at Horizon Christian School will create and implement lesson plans that align with relevant agricultural curricula, covering topics like soil science, crop production, animal husbandry, and broad acre agriculture.

They will provide practical, hands-on experience through demonstrations, field projects, and managing institution-based farms, including the schools farm block (‘The River Block’) and livestock.
