Governance Module 1 – The Board’s Governance Role

It is an incredible privilege to serve on the board of a Christian school. The Association places in their board’s hands their responsibility for the school, school community, and its resources under the vision and mission of the school. This is a wonderful ministry and a significant challenge. This course will help boards in this important task.

Description

Length

1 hour online

Course structure

The course is designed to be completed as a module that is part of the suite of governance training courses. However, boards can access individual topic modules as needed.

These short courses can be undertaken by individual board members, or be completed as a board together. The modules are kept short so boards can fit the training into their busy board calendars.

The training builds on the materials covered in the Board Induction Course, and this is a useful pre-requisite to the other governance modules.
