The College is seeking an experienced Technology Teacher for the Senior School.
This position is permanent full-time commencing in Term 1 2027.
Core Requirements:
Applicants for the position of Technology Teacher must demonstrate at a minimum that they:
- are a committed Christian, who is active in the life of a Bible-based Evangelical Church.
- support the College’s vision of holistic Christian education.
- conduct themselves in a manner in keeping with the College ethos and Code of Conduct at all times, modelling Christian maturity to the College community.
- have the ability to teach across Stages 4-6 of the NESA Technology Syllabuses to ensure that the College provides quality education to students.
- have exceptional communication and relational teaching skills.
- have knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schools.
- holds a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC).
- are an accredited teacher with at least Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA.
- work effectively and collaboratively in a Faculty team.
- the ability to teach Hospitality or Computing would be highly desirable.
Core Responsibilities:
The Technology Teacher should:
- provide effective and innovative teaching practices for teaching Technology, reflecting the Christian ethos of the College, ensuring a high standard of outcomes for all students.
- manage curriculum requirements for their classes, including programs, registers, assessment, feedback, and reporting.
- manage student issues arising from their classes using the College’s positive behaviour framework and implementing relevant College protocols.
- implement College protocols and strategies.
- provide effective pastoral care to students through leading a regular House Tutor group.
- support co-curricular activities of the College.
