Theme: ‘What is the Main Thing?’
Building on last year’s momentum, the 2026 Teaching and Learning Summit is the second chapter in a professional learning journey for Teaching and Learning Leaders. In 2025, under the theme Distinctive by Design: Staying on Mission in a Changing World, leaders explored guiding teachers toward a deeper understanding of Christian teaching practices.
This year, with the theme What Is the Main Thing?, we focus on keeping the main thing the main thing in Christian education, amid the complexity and competing priorities of contemporary education—remaining mission true, honouring God’s work stretching back to our foundations, and leading teachers into this vision. The summit creates a space to share theology, practical strategies, and equip leaders of learning through keynotes, workshop style presentations, professional conversations, and leadership development opportunities.
Participants will hear from colleagues across the Christian Education National (CEN) movement, the CEN team, and our friends from Canada, continuing our shared commitment to Christ-centered education.

Cost:
CEN Member schools – $240 for 2 day attendance (VIC & NSW) $190 for one day attendance (SA & TAS) excludes GST
Non-CEN Member schools – $270 for 2 day attendance (VIC & NSW) $220 for one day attendance (SA & TAS) excludes GST
