What Does It Mean to Flourish? Leadership, Culture, and the Human Future
Flourishing has become the aspiration of our age. But have we paused to ask what we really mean by it?
Amid rapid technological change, growing cultural fragility, and increasing complexity in leadership, the call to flourish can no longer remain assumed, undefined or vague. This gathering creates space for leaders to think carefully and deeply about the nature of flourishing within leadership, within school culture, and within the lives of those we serve.
Across keynote sessions and workshops, we will explore:
- What Does It Mean to Flourish as a Leader? – considering leadership as formation and calling, shaping leaders of depth, wisdom, and resilience who can carry responsibility faithfully and lead others toward true flourishing.
- AI & Human Flourishing: Fully Human, Fully Alive – exploring how we form people who remain fully human in an AI-shaped world that increasingly pulls us toward efficiency over true flourishing and what will it cost us if we do/don’t resist it?
- Beyond Safety: Forming Cultures That Can Carry Weight – how schools can cultivate cultures that not only care well, but form people of depth and resilience and considering what might it mean to lead with understanding, while pointing to maturity in Christ.
As we mark 60 years of shared heritage (with the theme planted with purpose, growing by grace, a flourishing future) we look ahead with both humility and hope, not assuming we have fully grasped what it means to flourish, but committed to seeking it, together.
