On behalf of the NSW/ACT State Council, it is with great pleasure that we announce the
appointment of Joanne Fahey as the State Executive Officer for NSW/ACT CEN schools.

Jo is familiar to many of our schools as the current Deputy Principal at Illawarra Christian School. Jo
is a passionate and steadfast Christian educator who has many gifts to contribute to this role and we
are excited to welcome her to the position, commencing in January 2023. Jo succeeds the faithful
Kathy Pereira who has completed two separate terms as the SEO for our NSW and ACT schools.

Kathy will be sorely missed, but we are excited to introduce Jo to you.

The role that Jo is undertaking is a 5 day per week, full time position that has embedded in it, an
allocation of a 2 day per week Teaching and Learning focus. It will be exciting to see how Jo grows
this special focus area of the position within the NSW and ACT community of CEN schools.
