Your Role as a Learning Support Aide

As a Learning Support Aide, you will play a pivotal role in the academic and social development of our secondary school students with high support needs.  You will work closely with the Learning Support Coordinator and classroom teachers to implement tailored programs that promote each student’s learning and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include providing instructional assistance, supervising students during activities, and contributing to the development of individualised support plans.  This is a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of students while growing in your professional skills.

• Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent is essential.
• Previous experience in a secondary school environment supporting students of various abilities is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff, students, and parents.
• A reformed Christian faith and active involvement in a local church.
• A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate are required.
