Head of Primary School – Mount Evelyn Christian School

Mount Evelyn Christian School is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated Head of Primary School.  This is a full-time position, commencing 16^th January, 2025.

We would like the successful applicant to wholeheartedly join a team implementing a distinctively biblical approach to education.

Key selection criteria

• Demonstrate exemplary skills in establishing effective working relationships with staff, students and parents
• Exhibit a genuine Christian faith, biblical foundation and active Christian lifestyle
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills to achieve educational and organisational goals
• Possess a sound knowledge of current educational practices and teaching from a Christian worldview perspective
• VIT registered.

The successful applicant will need to:

• Be in agreement with, and actively commit to, the Christian ethos and Core Values as expressed in the MECS ‘Focus on Identity’
• Be able to prioritise, problem solve, demonstrate initiative and utilise common sense.
