Arise Christian College is a K-12 Special Purpose Christian school of approximately 60 students in Maitland NSW that caters for students with a diagnosed disability.  The Executive Principal and Board look to the Head of Arise to provide high-quality, innovative and dynamic leadership in all aspects of college life.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Head of Arise.  The successful applicant will report to the Executive Principal and Board and will have.

• Appropriate Professional educational qualifications and Tertiary Education.
• A solid Christian worldview founded on the scriptures, consistent with the doctrinal position of the College, informing committed practice and principles in Christian schooling.
• Experience in senior management (Senior POR or Deputy).
• Effective, passionate and innovative educator with an empowering view of student learning.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in developing the capability of school staff and leaders.
• A demonstrated capacity to balance strategic and operational/functional leadership in an educational context.

The successful applicant must demonstrate their alignment with the Christian distinctives of the College and be committed to upholding and furthering these.
