About the role

Due to growth in our secondary school, we are currently seeking an energetic part-time or full-time educator to join our secondary English faculty. This ongoing, permanent position commences Term 1, 2025, and carries a teaching load of 0.8-1 FTE. Experience with teaching another subject/s within the HSIE faculty would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • NESA registration (or eligibility) and Working With Children Check
  • a genuine Christian faith of reformed theology, with active involvement in a local church
  • understanding of contemporary teaching and learning pedagogies, particularly as they apply to the subjects in the English/HSIE faculty
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • a commitment to partnership with parents in the education of their children
  • a strong commitment to independent Christian education and a willingness to contribute to the wider School community through extra-curricular programs
  • a demonstrated desire for lifelong learning.
