About Us: Southern Highlands Christian School is establishing a not-for-profit community preschool in East Bowral. We are currently seeking two dedicated Diploma Educators to join our team in part-time positions, commencing in Term 1, 2025.
Position Details:
- Days of work: 4 or 2 days per week (school terms only)
- Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Additional Commitments: Two after-hours staff meetings per term and staff development days throughout the year
- Team Structure: Each classroom accommodates 20 children, led by an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT).

Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid qualifications
- Child Protection training
In addition, we are looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in delivering high-quality education and care for children aged 3–5 years, including working with children with additional needs.
- Excels in documenting and assessing children’s learning and development.
- Is skilled at building strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prioritises inclusive, respectful practices and has strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Is proficient in technology and committed to ongoing professional development.
