About our school
Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown, Sydney. At Tyndale we believe that God has given parents the responsibility for the nurture of their children according to the Word of the Lord. Tyndale is therefore committed to partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children by equipping students to be disciples of Jesus through Christ-centred Biblical education.
About the role
Tyndale invites applications for employment as a part-time or casual Bus Driver. Working hours for the part-time role are 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday during school terms (primarily from 2.45pm-5.15pm). As one of our close-knit team of bus drivers, you would play a key role in ensuring the safe and reliable transport of students between home and school each day as well as when attending excursions, sporting events, and other off-campus activities.
Depending on a driver’s availability, additional casual hours may be available during the day and in some vacation periods. Tyndale has a fleet of eight buses including mini buses and larger vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Christian of Reformed/Evangelical persuasion, active in a church, and able to whole-heartedly subscribe to Tyndale’s Educational Creed
- Holding a Light Rigid (LR) licence
- First aid qualified (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold an MR or HR or willingness to upgrade with our support
- Experience in driving a school or public transport bus will be highly regarded
This position will commence in 2023 or 2024 by negotiation.
