Mount Evelyn Christian School is seeking a suitably qualified, highly motivated Assistant Business Manager to join our administration team.  This role is 0.8 – 1.0 FTE, negotiable. The hours are 8.20am – 4.30pm.  Ideally, the successful candidate would commence in early Term 2 – April/May.

The primary task of the Assistant Business Manager is to coordinate and support MECS with the Human Resource function, provide Payroll support as required and strengthen Risk & Compliance.  This will principally be provided through coordinating HR, providing support for the Payroll function and providing advice and support with risk and compliance responsibilities including privacy, employment, occupational health and safety, child safety, and policy matters.

The successful application will have:

• A strong Christian faith
• Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a range of people
• The ability to prioritise workload and complete tasks efficiently
• A consistent, methodical approach to work with high attention to detail
