Parkes Christian School is seeking a motivated, energetic PDHPE teacher with a growth mindset and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Our High School is dynamic and uses a range of digital technology to engage the students and make learning relevant for our students. We want a PDHPE teacher whose passion for the subject is clear to everyone who walks into their classroom and onto the sporting oval. 

Must be able to participate in curriculum planning and development, value the role of data in developing quality teaching practice, and be prepared to think outside the square.

The position is suitable for all levels of experience, however the successful applicant will also need to fill the role of Sports Coordinator. Please note that relocation subsidies are available if applicable.

Selection Criteria:

  • A committed Christian who is active in their local church. 
  • Willingness to uphold the vision and ethos of Parkes Christian School
  • Appropriate teaching qualifications.
  • Current NSW Working With Children’s Check
  • Organised and meets deadlines.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively.
  • Committed to Professional Learning to improve pedagogy within the classroom.
  • Ability to organise sports carnivals, sporting teams and excursions to various sporting events.
  • Successful experience in teaching Senior PDHPE is highly desirable.
