Religious Freedom Breakfast Forum

Christian school board members and executive staff from across Tasmania are invited to join us for breakfast. The Australian Association of Christian Schools and Freedom for Faith have partnered with CEN to bring our speaker for the morning Professor Patrick Parkinson.

Patrick Parkinson is Professor of Law at the University of Queensland where he was Dean of Law until earlier this year and is also the chair of Freedom for Faith. Professor Parkinson has authored a number of books and is a former President of the International Society of Family Law. A more detailed bio is available here.

We have invited Senator Jacqui Lambie to be our special guest to provide a valuable opportunity for us to share with her the importance of the Government’s proposed Religious Discrimination Bill for our schools. Senator Lambie will be accompanied by Tammy Tyrrell, Senate candidate for the next Federal election.

The breakfast will be hosted by the Burnie campus of Leighland Christian School. As well as a short address from Professor Parkinson you can expect the coffee to be good, the hospitality warm, the breakfast delightful, the presentations stimulating, and the company congenial.
