Description

The Dance teacher will be directly responsible to the Creative Arts Coordinator. The class teacher is responsible for implementing the vision and mission of the school in the context of the classroom and other areas of the school in which they work. A classroom teacher should strive to understand the curriculum they teach and to communicate the content from a Christian perspective in an age appropriate manner.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS 

•  12 months maternity leave cover

•Commencing Friday 14 June 2019 - Friday 3 July 2020

•temporary part-time 0.5FTE

•Hours for 2019: Tuesday 7:45am – 3:00pm, Wednesday 4:00pm – 6:10pm, Friday 8:10am – 12:45pm

Requirements:

KEY REQUIREMENTS 

•Committed Christian, of a reformed evangelical persuasion

•Suitably qualified for the teaching position  

•Well developed classroom management skill

•Can develop a culture of learning 

•Ability to teach HSC Dance essential

•A willingness to be involved in choreography for school Musical
